The two forms of Greebo, the most vicious tomcat in all of Discworld.
In "Witches Abroad" and "Maskerade", the witches transform Greebo from a cat to quite possibly the most shagalicious man alive. Well, not exactly in those words, but.... "Greebo fully clothed still managed to communicate the nakedness beneath. The insouciant moustache, the long sideburns and the tousled black hair combined with the well-developed muscles to give the impression of the more louche kind of buccaneer or a romantic poet who'd given up on the opium and tried red meat instead. He had a scar running across his face, and a black patch now where it crossed the eye. When he smiled, he exuded an easy air of undistilled, excitingly dangerous lasciviousness. He could swagger while asleep. Greebo could, in fact, commit sexual harassment simply by sitting very quietly in the next room." [-"Maskerade", Terry Pratchett] I'm not entirely sure this is how I picture him, but his description makes it fun to play with his design, so there may be redesigns in the future.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We choose photomanipulations that have made an impression on us from the past week. We do not base our choices on preference or friendships and we have never featured ourselves. We simply pick photomanipulations showing creativity, technique and quality at the same time, and are simply eye-catching. As we are also stock artists, we will only feature the works that give proper credits to stock artists. |
