I always spend way too much time on these silly memes. Especially when I should be working on more important things. It was fun, though, since facial expressions are one of my favorite things to draw. I fully intend to do this for Lyons and Blackmoore, too, in the distant future.

Comments on certain panels:

"Afraid": not exactly on model, but there was a certain energy I liked about the sketch.

"Surprised": yes, I know the wind is blowing his hair in a different direction than the rain. A stupid mistake, but I couldn't be bothered to change it. Let's just say it's a whirlwind.

"Guilt": LOL hippie Edmund. He's supposed to be in his teens here, back when his hair was even poofier. I think I need to keep working on the design of his younger self...

"Envy": There's little that would give Edmund cause to envy other people. He's got enough money and status. Although he would never admit it to himself or others, there's one thing he envies Lyons for and that is his ability to be so at ease at social gatherings. I'm not sure what kind of exciting anecdote Lyons is currently sharing, but Santa and Abe Lincoln back there seem amused.
(no, it's not really Lincoln, just came out looking like him for some reason)

Lyons guest stars in quite a lot of these panels. I can't help it, he just brings out the best angry/annoyed/contemptuous expressions in Edmund. It's just a case of putting those two together in the same room and seeing what happens. Although you can't see him, he's also indirectly responsible for Edmund's near-heart-attack in the "Afraid" panel.
