I've got nothing much of importance to update about, but it's a good excuse to test if my new temporary journal skin shows up okay. It's the first time I've ever installed a journal skin on DA, so I hope I'm not royally screwing anything up.

If it does work, my journal should now have a lovely vintage papery look and there should be a photo of a gorgeous, curly-haired Victorian man just above my post. Roll over him with your mouse and - magic! It should change into the same gorgeous man from a different angle (and wearing different clothes). He's currently posing as my desktop background as well. I can't claim credit for the photos, I have no idea who the model is or what the pictures were for. pointed them out to me when she spied an amazing resemblance between the model and a certain character of mine. I realize it may teeter on copyright infringement to use photos that I haven't taken myself, but this free journal skin action is only supposed to last until the 29th, so it'll be gone before you know it.

I'm terrible at keeping an active journal here. Or even semi-active. Rest assured though, I'm still around and I always read every comment I get. I may not always reply unless someone asks me a specific question or if I really want to address something. But I appreciate all the comments and faves I get all the same.

The next page of the TT comic is on its way, for those of you waiting impatiently. The next page starts a series of pages that have been great fun for me to write and draw. Hopefully they'll be fun to read as well. I know I update the comic very sporadically, but please be patient. It's still squeaking along, I just never intended it to be updated very frequently like on a weekly or even monthly basis. It's more of a side project for me that I work on when I'm not working on commissions or one of my other projects. It's nice to see there's still a loyal group of watchers out there eagerly awaiting each new installment.
